Artist - John Konheim
John became interested in the simple line
drawing when a student at Columbia. For over 40 years I have sketched my
experiences, from service in the military, travels in Asia, Europe, the
Caribbean (including Cuba), Alaska, and the U.S., and figure models.
"Replacing the Camera" was the title of a recent one man show
which accurately describes my focus. My works are displayed in Europe, U.S.,
and Asia, in private homes and government offices. They have been used by
academic institutions in publications and correspondence, as well as designer
prints for clothing. Since the style is "everyman's art" I have
named it "inconsequential art".
To the public, I only sell 8" x
10" signed & numbered prints at a set price of $10 each.
