I am Sally Molnar, a watercolor artist. I started taking drawing and watercolor painting classes at Whetstone Recreation Center in the early eighties. I was in the ceramic clay classes at that time and wanted to do more decorative work on my ceramic pieces. I have also taken classes at the Cultural Arts Center.

After many classes I felt I was not making any progress and stopped painting. In 1995, I started taking watercolor painting classes at the Franklin Park Conservatory with Chris Curry and I haven’t stopped painting. I like being creative with my watercolor paintings. I also like the way paint flows when mixed with water. There are always interesting results.

In September 2001 I went to South France for 2 weeks with a group of 17 women artists to paint the countryside. This was a wonderful experience which I will always remember.

I show my paintings through different Art groups of which I am a member, such as, Clintonville Art Guild, Worthington Area Art League, and Collage (a group of women artists).    I have 2 paintings hanging in Arlingworth Health Inc reception office.   I also create greeting cards, T-shirts, and sweatshirts from my paintings.
